World food program in Kalemie by herman Kambala

WORLD FOOD PROGRAM MISSION

Discover my photographs taken in Kalemie during a assignment for the World Food Programme. We had to document the visit of former Congolese international footballer and ambassador of WFP, Distel Zola, to the school canteen in Kabanga and the Kambamba hospital.

Vitamin Angels delivers life-saving vitamins to women and children throughout the world. Through this project, we follow the health team in the field to capture photos of the distribution of vitamins in Kinshasa.

COCOI in DRC (the only local coffee buyer) is changing the café landscape in the country, adding value to coffee cherries to sell them as high-quality coffee on local markets and thus also impacting large coffee farming communities as they receive a much higher price.
